Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Thank you for inquiring about our manuscript guidelines
for new works. We receive thousands of unsolicited submissions each
year. To save us both time, paper, and postage we ask that you first submit
a query letter, instead of the whole manuscript, along with an outline
of your work, your assessment of the target audience, and a sufficient
sample of your writing style for our acquisitions staff to determine if
your work fits within our editorial policy. From there, we can decide whether
we need to request a complete manuscript for further review.
If you want a response from us either way, please send
your query along with a SASE or a working e-mail address. We cannot be
responsible for returning manuscripts due to the large quantity we receive,
but we make every effort to do so with what you include for that purpose.
We are actively reviewing manuscripts again and we are
eager to find manuscripts we can be excited about and get behind. Unagented
and first time authors, simultaneous and email submissions are all okay.
We encourage you to submit your work for consideration at this time:
-
it may be considered (budget allowing) for publication by
Perron Press
-
we may offer subsidy publishing
-
or we can assist you with the details of self-publishing
In any case, we are always excited about being involved in
projects that can contribute positively to people's lives. Thank
you for your interest in Perron Press.
